This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you interact with our website, sign up for text message updates, or participate in Church communications.
The Message Church SMS Updates — By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from The Message Church, including scripture encouragement, Sunday worship reminders, Tuesday morning prayer alerts, Zoom call links, community event announcements, and pastoral care check-ins.
Your mobile phone number and opt-in status will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We use your mobile number solely for Church communications as described above.
Opt-in data (name and phone number) is stored securely and is accessible only to authorized Church staff and our messaging service provider. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. We do not store payment card data.
We use Twilio, Inc. as our SMS messaging service provider. Twilio processes message delivery on our behalf and is subject to its own privacy policy available at twilio.com/legal/privacy. No personal information is shared with Twilio beyond what is necessary to deliver your messages.
Our SMS program is intended for individuals 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
